Ingredients

  • 1 package of ready-made, fresh gnocchi
  • 1 large, orange sweet potato
  • 250 ml homemade or prepared chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp cow butter (or margarine for vegans)
  • 2 sage leaves
  • Salt Pepper

Implementation

1) Wrap the sweet potato with aluminum foil and put it in the oven to bake in the air, at 200oC for 40 minutes.

2) Once cooked, let it cool slightly and cut it into small pieces. Sauté in the butter for 2-3 minutes together with the chopped sage.

3) Add the chicken stock to the pot. Season with salt and pepper and let it boil for 5-6 minutes.

4) Melt the sauce well with a hand stick or in the blender and boil for another 2 minutes.

5) At the same time, boil the gnocchi in salted water until they rise to the surface. Strain and sprinkle with olive oil.

6) Serve the gnocchi with sweet potato sauce and some optional blue cheese.
